Things that go bump in the night

OR yank my hair so hard I see stars OR, scream so loud from a nightmare that it wakes others up...
Allow me to explain just what the heck I'm talking about.
It all started Saturday night. In the middle of the night I woke up to my hair being yanked nearly out of my head and seeing stars. What the heck?!?! Evidently BSP had some crazy dream or something startled him. He quite often falls asleep with a hand tucked up into my hair. I guess it's comforting to him and I confess, it's one of those "Aaawwww" moments. Anyway, due to a bad dream or something, that fisted hand of hair nearly came out of my head! Cripes! I don't think I've ever had my hair pulled so hard in my life! He woke up practically the second he did it and was all sorts of apologetic and really felt awful. Yeah. Me too. Had a pretty good headache for a couple of hours.
On to Sunday night...I had the worst, godawful nightmare I have ever had in my life. Let me tell ya, Wes Craven's got nothin' on me! I still cannot believe the images this dream produced! I'm not a horror movie kind of gal. Never have been. I can get scared from reading a creepy book let alone try and sit through some scary, gory movie so this nightmare shook me so badly that I screamed and screamed. Woke poor BSP up thinking I must be dying or something. He had to shake me awake calling out my name really loudly.
Let's move on to Monday night. After two really strange nights with broken up sleep, it's time for a good nights rest, right? Um, no. BSP has been working some crazy hours and is exhausted. So of course, that translates into Mr. Snoring Snortyton from Snorty town City. I must have tried nearly everything short of just waking his snoring hiny up to get him to stop! Even the poor cat kept looking at him like "WTF"?!
I wonder what's in store for tonight? Anyone got some really good sleeping pills? Anyone?
