The hideous horse at D.I.A.

Last week we flew out of Denver on Thursday for a family wedding and returned home on Sunday. I have lots of pictures to post, especially more of my beautiful grandson, but in the meantime I just had to post a picture of the most godawful, ugly, hideous statue we have ever seen. The picture doesn't do it justice. This thing is huge, smurfy blue with glowing red eyes and spikes on it's back in place of what should be it's mane. It's the most evil, menacing looking thing we have ever seen. Every time we're out at the airport, we wonder what the "powers that be" were thinking when they put this statue up. And that's not the worst of it...this statue fell and KILLED IT'S MAKER WHILE HE WAS SCULPTING IT!!!
In our opinion, this is a good one for the "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING" file!
